Alert+ Weather 1.4.9.2 is a weather tool for Windows. This application works with three weather forecast services: The United States National Weather Service, Accuweather.com and The Weather Channel. When you first use the application, you have to choose among one of those services and then add a location. In Windows Vista, this simple task of adding a location seems rather complicated. If you simply add the city name, the application will just sit there. If you add all the information that it requires (City, County, State code and Post code), it will either just sit there or tell you that the city does not exist. This might be a problem of compatibility with Windows Vista, though. Once the location is added, you are taken to the main window of the application, where you can see the current conditions for your location. There you will see a thermometer-like design with the current temperature and an array of data. There are two tabs to the right which read Current and Imagery. The latter will most likely take you to the satellite or radar images of your area, if available.
